This is Koko the gorilla. I can’t get over how adorable she is. She’s one of the most kindest, gentlest animals out there. The excitement she felt when she was given All Ball, her kitten. Then the way she grieved his death after finding out he was hit by a car. Then when she met Mr. Rogers and she was so happy, she signed the words “cry” and “sad.” Some people cry when they meet their idols and Mr. Rogers was hers. Oh, and the video of her and the yellow balloon, how she related the color of the balloon to her tongue, which she signed as “fake yellow” because she was sucking on a highlighter than turned her tongue yellow. I love Koko, she’s a lot more likable and friendlier than most humans.
